Aura Garcia Sanchez is an actress on Spanish films and television. She's appeared on TV and in movies like Stockholm. Garrido began her career in Madrid around 1989. Tomas Garrido composes music and conducts orchestras, and Pilar Sanchez paints. She began her piano classes when she was four years old, and soon after, started practicing ballet. She speaks English thanks to having an American-born best friend in her childhood. After finishing her high school studies her, she attended the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. There she studied interpreter for three years, specialising in textual translation. However, she left at the end of 2010 after she secured an acting role in Planes para manana. Her role in this film brought her an award of Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the most promising new actress.
